FitChecks started in a hallway. Specifically, the hallway between two teenagers' bedrooms and our front door — where, several times a day, the founder was asked the same question:
"Dad — fit check?"
What began as morning style reviews from a dad with above-average opinions and below-average accuracy turned into a conviction: there should be a better way to get a fast, honest, calibrated read on a fit. Better than a parent in a hallway. Better than a group chat. Better than scrolling for half an hour and giving up.
So we built one.
FitChecks is a custom-trained style and vision engine that scores a fit on Fit, Color, Style, and Vibe. It reads silhouette, color harmony, trend alignment, and styling details — and returns a precise score out of 10, a written verdict, and one tip to elevate the look. It's been trained, curated, and calibrated by humans who care about clothes.
The app launched on the App Store in 2026 and is in active development.
Owlstorm.ai is a small independent studio building AI-powered consumer products with strong design and zero noise. We believe AI should feel like a great friend with great taste — quiet, fast, and useful. FitChecks is our first release.
